The Winemaker Cristian Ridolfi
Born in Verona in 1971, this talented, experienced winemaker has a long curriculum of commitment to some of Valpolicella’s most prestigious wineries and is now at the head of the venerable Santi winery, in Illasi.
Christian Ridolfi graduated from Conegliano Veneto’s Istituto Superiore Statale for Viticulture and Oenology, and at the beginning of his career he spent two years working for the Santi winery, then continued his career path in other Verona cellars.
Over the years he has studied the peculiarities of Verona winegrowing districts, the origins of designations and the history of the terroirs so as to interpret the potential of each individual valley, its slopes and the vines that populate it.
After almost twenty years he is back at Santi as its manager, certainly a source of great satisfaction but also of great responsibility.

The Santi range is inspired by the excellence of Valpolicella, superior wines represented by the “La Cantina del Cavaliere” line paying homage to Attilio Gino Santi, heir to the
founder and awarded the title of “Cavalier of the Republic”.
Other Verona DOCs complete the range alongside some top Tre Venezie wines like Pinot Grigio and Prosecco Millesimato DOCG.
